Walk Among the Whipstick Wildflowers!
Join Michael Barkla and Ken Wellard from the Friends of the Whipstick in a guided walk. Learn more about the bush and how it is healing, look for fungi, flowers, insects, wonder at the beauty and abundance of the wildflowers!

About the event
We will meet near the Scout Hall in Simpsons Road opposite Lake Neangar. There will be a short talk and display materials to peruse before the walk starts. The walk will be slow, suitable for all ages and take less than an hour. There are some rough areas on the track and a gentle gradient up Lightning Hill. Bring sturdy shoes, water, sunscreen and insect repellent for the mozzies that may be out by then. For more information email elsie@commoners.coop
