What's on
We had a huge Planet Aware September in 2022 with over 40 events from our dedicated community groups, including walks, films, talks and more. We've learnt just how passionate people in Bendigo are about making a difference and will continue to promote their events. Check out what's on below and get involved in 2023 - chances are you will feel good, make a friend and become more planet aware!
- 05 Nov 2023, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pmCollege Crescent Playspace, 32A College Cres, Flora Hill VIC 3550, AustraliaThe Australian Conservation Foundation invites families of all ages to a special event to learn about the rare and seriously endangered Eltham Copper Butterfly. Bendigo hosts several colonies of this little butterfly and we want people to learn about it in order to protect it.

Bush Watchers Ken Wellard, Michael Barkla, Julie Whitfield - Radford and Mark Hall will share their thoughts on this elusive creature and its natural habitat.

The Food is Free table is always open and you can check out the Useful Bin and soon to be open Tool lIbrary!

Work has already started on a tree register but more people need to get involved to help make it happen!

Learn more about the bush and how it is healing, look for fungi, flowers, insects, wonder at the beauty and abundance of the wildflowers!

COGB's Biodiversity officer will show you how to monitor wildlife at this Trust For Nature property. We will help with some new plantings, before settling in on the riverbank to watch and hear the animals at dusk. Will we see a platypus?
